PG5 Piston Seals are compact, bi-directional seals designed with high-strength seal ring material. These seals feature excellent seal extrusion resistance allowing them to be used in elevated operating pressure applications. The seal ring has molded axial pads on the sides of the seal providing proper pressurization to prevent “blow by” during rapid pressure reversals. The NBR square energizer provides stability and the initial pre-load for proper sealing.
The PG5 series piston seal is designed to retrofit the common industrial O-ring housing standard.
